The hotel's downtown location provides a nice retreat, a short walk from vibrant nightlife yet shielded from its noise. The rooftop pool offered a serene spot to unwind, complemented by stunning sunset views. The spacious suites were well-appointed, featuring air conditioning and a stocked mini-bar, enhancing comfort without excessive costs. Friendly staff, including Carlos and Maria, were undoubtedly attentive, facilitating a smooth experience, notably during my wife’s birthday celebration where they arranged a cake seamlessly. While the smaller pools weren't crowded, the rooftop lounging areas were a highlight. The complimentary luggage storage service was convenient for our hiking trip. El Cactus provides an excellent value-for-money choice for travelers seeking both comfort and authenticity.
